Two New Political Parties Registered with Election Commission

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially registered two new political parties, raising the total number of registered parties in the country to 170.

 

According to a notification issued by the ECP, the newly registered parties are the Azad Awam Pakistan Party and the Tajdeed Nizam Party.

The notification further stated that Muhammad Ali will serve as the head of Azad Awam Pakistan Party, while Khalid Zaman has been appointed as the chairman of Tajdeed Nizam Party. The ECP has also accepted the intra-party elections of both political entities.

With this development, the political landscape of Pakistan has expanded, as more parties secure recognition to take part in the country’s democratic process.
